Yes. 100% free. No monthly fees, no per-user charges, no feature paywalls, no credit card required. Every feature — digital inspections, SMS, AI follow-ups, payments, reporting — is included for every user at every shop. We didn't build three pricing tiers as some kind of bait-and-switch. We built them because we thought it was funny. All three tiers are $0. All three are identical.
There isn't one. No trial periods. No "free for 30 days then surprise, it's $400/month." No bait-and-switch. No investor-subsidized land-grab where the price goes up later. Shop Commander was built by a shop owner who was tired of paying rent to software companies. It's built to solve a real problem, not to extract maximum subscription revenue from people who fix cars for a living.
When you process payments through ShopCommander, we receive a commission from the payment processor. That commission helps fund development, hosting, and ongoing improvements, so we don't have to charge monthly software fees.

You're already paying payment processing fees to someone. The difference is what you get for it.

We don't add hidden surcharges, platform fees, or "technology fees" on top. You're not paying extra — you're just getting more value from money you already spend.

The software stays free. That's the business model.
No. Zero. None. No setup fees. No training fees. No migration fees. No support fees. No per-user fees. No per-location fees. No SMS fees. No "platform access" fees. No "data export" fees. No "you're-locked-in-and-we-know-it" fees. Everything is free. We make a small commission from our payment processor when you run credit cards through Shop Commander — you pay standard processing rates, we just get a small referral cut. That's it. If you find a hidden fee, let us know because that would mean we have a bug.
Yes. Unlimited two-way SMS is included with every Shop Commander account. No per-message charges. No separate SMS bill. No markup. A lot of shop management platforms charge $0.05-$0.10 per message and pocket the difference. We think that's gross. Your SMS is free, like everything else.
Yes. We offer free data migration from Shopmonkey, Tekmetric, Mitchell, Shop-Ware, and other shop management systems. Customers, vehicles, service history — all of it comes over. Most migrations are completed same-day. And yes, the migration is also free. We know — at this point you're probably waiting for us to charge you for something. Sorry to disappoint.
