Appointments

The scheduling calendar — day, week, and month views with drag-and-drop rescheduling and bay assignment.

The Appointments calendar is where the week gets planned. Book work into specific bays, drag things around when the day changes on you, and turn an appointment into a repair order when the car shows up.

The day view — every bay, every hour

Three views

Switch between Day, Week, and Month at the top right, and jump back with Today.

  • Day is the working view: an hour-by-hour timeline with a column per bay. Click any open slot to book it.
  • Week shows seven days at a glance — weekends are hidden by default, and you can toggle any day on or off.
  • Month gives you the long view; click any day to drop into it.

Appointments are color-coded by service type — oil changes, brakes, tires, diagnostics — and you can customize the colors to match how your shop thinks.

Booking

Hit New Appointment or click a time slot. You can book three kinds of entries:

  • Appointment — pick the customer (or create a new one right in the form), vehicle, service type, duration, and bay.
  • Follow-up — tied to an existing repair order, for return visits.
  • Custom event — meetings, training, anything that blocks time but isn't a car.

Drag, drop, resize

The calendar is built to be rearranged. Drag an appointment to a new time or a different bay — it snaps to 15-minute intervals. Drag the bottom edge to stretch or shrink the duration. No edit forms, no retyping. When one tech calls in sick, reshuffling the day takes a minute, and everyone else's screen updates live.

Status flow

Appointments move through Scheduled → Confirmed → Arrived, and can be cancelled or marked as missed (with Restore if you change your mind). When a customer checks in with the QR code, their appointment is marked arrived automatically — see Check-Ins.

Requests from your public booking page land as Online Booking entries awaiting a click of Confirm Booking — see Online Booking for that side of the flow.

From appointment to repair order

When the car arrives, create the repair order straight from the appointment — customer and vehicle carry over, no re-entry. You can also link an appointment to an existing RO, and jump between the two with one click. That link is what keeps your calendar and your Repair Orders telling the same story.
