Settings
Configure your shop — business info, rates, hours, the job board, messaging, card payments, and automated CRM.
Settings is where you make Shop Commander yours. Everything is organized into tabs — General, Financial, Operations, Employees, Messaging, Integrations, CRM — and changes save as you go.

General
Business Information holds your shop's public-facing details — name, address, phone, email, website, Tax ID / Business Number, and your Google Review URL (used by automated review requests). Upload a Shop Logo and it appears on invoices, estimates, and every customer-facing page.
Financial
Set your tax rate, default labor rate, and default parts markup. Beyond the defaults:
- Shop Fees — a fee applied automatically to each repair order (shop supplies, environmental fees), flat rate or percentage, with your own label.
- Additional Labor Rates — named rates like Diagnostic that you can pick per labor entry.
- Pricing matrices — tiered parts markup by cost range, so a $4 part and a $400 part each get the right margin.
- Invoice & Estimate Terms — default text printed on every invoice and estimate, like your warranty policy and payment terms.
Operations
Set your number of bays and operating hours for each day of the week. This tab also controls:
- Online Booking — toggle it on to get a public booking URL you can link or embed on your website with the provided iframe snippet. Pick your own booking slug; Copy Link and Preview are right there.
- Appointment Color Labels — customize calendar colors by appointment type.
- Job Board Columns — customize the columns and statuses on your Job Board, and choose whether internal tasks appear alongside repair orders.
- Workflow Requirements — conditions that must be met before an RO can change status.
- Tire Storage and Technician Parts Used — toggle these features on for your shop.

Employees
Add, edit, archive, or remove employees — name, username, role, labor rate, and PIN code for logging in.
Messaging
Connect your Twilio account for SMS, then customize the SMS Templates — the exact wording customers receive for estimates, reminders, and updates.

Integrations
- Payments — hit Connect with Stripe to accept card payments in-shop and by text-to-pay link. Funds deposit directly to your bank account. Details in Payments.
- QR Check-In — generate a printable poster so customers check themselves in by scanning a code on arrival.
- Data Export — download your shop data as CSV or JSON files, including a full database export. Your data is always yours.
CRM
Turn on automated messaging modules one at a time — post-service feedback, review requests, service reminders, declined-work follow-up, customer reactivation, appointment reminders, and more. Each module has its own timing controls, and a global frequency limit keeps customers from ever being over-messaged.
