Job Board
The drag-and-drop Kanban board that shows every active job in the shop, live.
The Job Board is the shop's mission control: every active repair order as a card, in columns that match your workflow. Drag a card to move the job forward — the status updates instantly for everyone.

Reading the board
Each card shows the RO number, customer, vehicle, total, assigned tech, and a status badge. A few visual cues carry extra meaning:
- Red border — the customer has an active alert (VIP, balance due, health concern). Check the customer profile before you call.
- Purple border — an internal task card (shop maintenance, cleaning, errands) living alongside the repair work.
- Amber badge — a teammate has that repair order open right now.
Moving work
- Drag between columns to change a job's status — Scheduled, Estimate, Authorized, In Progress, Waiting for Parts, Completed, or whatever columns you've configured.
- Drag within a column to reorder priorities. The tech pulling the next job takes the top card.
- Click a card to open the full repair order.
Making it yours
Board columns are configured in Settings — choose which columns appear, what statuses they map to, and whether internal task cards show on the board. Match the columns to how your shop actually flows — the board should mirror your floor, not the other way around.
Why it stays true
The board is live for every user. When the parts driver marks a part received, the card moves out of Waiting for Parts on every screen in the building. Nobody works from a stale picture.
